Best Practices for Artists
Be clear about your availability, pricing, timelines, and usage terms. Respond professionally, keep your information current, and use written agreements when taking on and finalizing client work.
I. Artists remain fully independent, and decide which projects to accept or what terms to set with clients. Any details related to scope, pricing, timeline, revisions, deliverables, and usage rights are between the artist and the client.
II. Artists’ portfolios, existing work, artistic style, and original concepts remain theirs. Joining Humans Designed This does not transfer ownership of artists’ work, and involvement does not give automatic rights for anyone to use work without an agreement.
III. Humans Designed This will not take any commission, referral fee, listing fee, or handle any transaction fees from artists or clients.
IV. Humans Designed This reserves the right to decline, remove, or block artists, clients, listings, or inquiries that are abusive, harassing, fraudulent, infringing, misleading, spam-related, unsafe, or otherwise harmful to the purpose of Humans Designed This.
V. If at any point an artist no longer wants to be involved, they may ask to be removed from the initiative.
